About Emily
My name is Emily Shearer, and I’m a Sacramento based Christian artist. I enjoy expressing myself through virtually all forms of fine art. To me, art is a way of conveying truth and beauty, as well as being an incredible platform to reach people in a way that’s unique and genuine.
I’ve always felt a pull to make art, and using my hands to put something into the world is a vital part of my existence. I’m beyond thankful that I have the resources and support to continue to follow my passion.

Skills and Experience
I’m always exploring new mediums and trying out new materials, methods, and styles. I love taking on projects that challenge me, and find immense joy in honing my existing skills and learning new ones.
I’m comfortable working with oil paint, acrylic, gouache, watercolor, polymer and ceramic clay, collage, graphite, charcoal, and ink.
